The placing of the impalnt is a painless procedure as your dentist gives you a loacl anaesthetic.Healing after the surgery is usually also painless and uneventful.

You can resume your regular work immediately after the procedure.Just follow the instructions provided by your dentist.

Healing of the bone around the implant takes normally between three ansd six months.

After that your dentist will take further measurements to make a custom restoration which will then be fitted onto the implant.

7.HOW LONG DO DENTAL IMPLANTS LAST?

The first implant was placed more than 50 years ago and it has worked till now. There should be no reason that the implant shouldn't last you a lifetime as long as you maintain them daily and have them checked periodically.

Just as in healthy teeth, implants will stay healthy in a healthy mouth.
